Aung san Suu Kyi and Jesus Christ

                            Its all about the Sacrifice

People of Myanmar celebrated the victory in the bi-poll elections. The only reason behind their happiness is one great lady, Aung san Suu Kyi.

There are many things to speak about her. But, one thing touched my heart.  That is her last Love Letter to the husband.

After the few years of her Love marriage with Michel Aris, Suu Kyi returned to Burma from UK to lead the pro-democracy movement. It was year 1997, Michel was diagnosed with prostate cancer and he was critical. The Burmese government would not grant a visa to Michel to come and visit Suu kyi.  Aung San Suu Kyi to leave the country to visit him. She was at that time temporarily free from house arrest but was unwilling to depart, fearing that she would be refused re-entry once if she left Myanmar.

Now she has to make a decision, whether to go to her husband, whom she loved much, or to stay in Myanmar and to fight for the people!!

Next day, she wore a dress and a rose in her hair, which Michel likes very much and sent a video message to Michel with the following lines.

“My dear, you have shown me a Love sufficient for many ages. Now I am sharing the same Love to the people. I want to come, but I can’t come to you now. Bye Michel bye forever...”

Michel received her video two days before his death. He died on his 53rd birthday on 27 March 1999. Since 1989, when his wife was first placed under house arrest, he had seen her only five times, the last of which was for Christmas in 1995.

I would say that Myanmar people celebrating her sacrifice. Her sacrificial choice brought hope to those people.

Now I can’t resist myself without speaking about the JESUS CHRIST and his sacrifice. It happened 2000 years ago. Jesus Christ, being the only way for the salvation from the sin.

He had a choice too whether to die for people bearing all the sufferings and hell or to live a risk-free life. He chooses to sacrifice his life, pleasures, and all godly privileges and choose to die. The only one man who born to die

He said in John 10:18; No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again.

Now all those who saved through the faith in Jesus Christ were so happy and hopeful of their lives before and after death.

Why can’t you also be a part of such a group!!
